Anyone see the new Infiniti G series?

Man this car is soooo nice.....just love the exterior and interior. I can't wait to see the coupe next year. Nissan already registered G37, M37 and FX37 nameplates, so that hints to a bump in engine displacement.

What do you guys think?

lol u forgot that the style has changed over the years. not everyone likes the old school looks like some of us do. pretty much the new look could be phrased, "sleeker is to stylish and new age as square/chunky is to outdated and old." haha i got the old SAT analogy going on....

ehhh, im not tooo impressed with it. the body lines are all tooooo round. one of the reasons i liked the g35 was because it had straight edges to it.

ive seen a whole bunch of those driving around. i didnt think it was any big news. for the record, i think it looks like crap. although im not at all a fan of the the origional G35 OR 350z. looks like the seats are comfy though.....i guess.

The design is way too conservative. It looks too much like the old body style. This should have been a facelift to the G two years ago, and by now we should have seen something new.

In case you guys didn't know... all engine codes at nissan has been changed. All the new 350z has been changed to instead of VQ35's to FZ35 and FZ37's hence G37 M37, bla bla bla. It will be based for the new skyline gtr with is an FZ37dett which should pump around 450 or something like that. Block I heard is almost the same, but the heads are different between the skyline and the rest of the other models G37. I heard they put some new stuff in it, like variable cam control, lift control, and like timing control, hence next step up is FZ motors. More complicated, more HP, less emissions, more money......

kinda reminds me of a maxima/altima?...anybody else feelin that? yeah the front end is pretty sick..needs a good dumping and a more full wheel, and im with the other guy on the rear end...needs somthing...they shoulda flaired it or something.

The front is decent, the rest of the car look like ass in a cheap way. Overall, I think the car looks cheap and somewhat Camry like. Just my opinion.

the fash drive thingy is kinda useless. there is basically no use for it, they should just make the cd player an mp3 too so you can use a mp3 cd instead. i might be mistaken though, im not really too sure on what its for it but im guessing its for music.

i do like how the navi goes inside the dash a little and the control panel for it is kinda horizontal. makes it easier to use.

Yeah, the homogenization of japanese cars is starting to happen again.. The headlights and taillights look like the New IS350. The hood is straight off of the latest mazda miata. Hell the trunklid is almost Bmw-like. There are things I like about this car/platform, but there also things that are just plain blaaaaaaaaaah.
