We just had a major thunderstorm come through Iowa City, with hail, tornadoes, the whole nine yards. Apparently a tornado touched down about 3 miles from my house

, thankfully we didn't get any damage. The hail was freakin huge! I picked these up in my back yard:

About 2.5 inches in diameter, about halfway between a golf ball and a baseball. The local news got reports of even larger hail in other areas. Thankfully, I've got a 3-car garage.
