check out my theory....

well for the past while my SAFC 2 has been reading knock. it never used to but im used to it now but im still trying to figure out why its reading knock.

so then i realized all this happened after my turbo blew its seals and i replaced it. well when my old turbo was breaking it was spewing some oil out of the outlet. Where does all that go...right into the intercooler. im running the stock sidemount but im beginning to belive there is alot of oil residue inside in between the fins. causing insufficient cooling since i only pick up knock after i been driving for 10 mins or so. i dont have time to inspect the insides of the intercooler cause im always having to drive places. But is this a reasonable theory?

lmk your advice

thanks, Derek
