S14 Shift knob thread size

Hey,
I'm going to need a shift knob in the next few days, something I forgot to get while the car was in the body shop. Anyways, my brother has a few hondas sitting around, shift knob thread size is supposedly m10 x 1.5, just wondering if an s14 is the same, I know it is 10mm, but what does the 1.5 mean, and is an s14 1.5?

IIRC, it's M10x1.25. Try it and see, you'll know within the first few turns.

The honda knob won't work. S14 is M10 x 1.25. 1.25 is the thread pitch.

I think honda one will fit because..... My greddy counter weight fits on my friends 3000gt, and my friend who owns the 3000gt used one from my friend eclipse, who in turn used one from the evo VIII and another friend used the evo VIII shift knob in a delsol and one in a civic hatchback . So drawing from that conclusion, it should fit.
