stereo problem

Ok so I was doing some work and I needed to disconnect my negative battery terminal (which I've done many times before and the deck has always worked afterrr) and when I put it back on everything was fine except now my stereo head unit will not turn on. Has this happened to any of you before and if so/if not does anybody have any ideas?...fuse was checked

yeah same problem...my deck had two fuses, one was inline with the yellow (battery) wire and one on the deck itself in the back next to the rcas. one of them blew I forgot which one. try checking those along with the ones in the kick panel

for me, it's just the fm/am radio that crapped out, but cd still works,
to this day i have no idea what's wrong with it, but i don't care much for it since i don't listen to radio... then again, my stereo is o o o old..., it could be that too

best bet is a loose or bad ground...hook an extra ground in and ground it to the metal bar inside the dash
