My number 1 o2 sensor is bad. Should i spend 50 to get a universal that i wire, 80 on one that plugs right in(both bosh) or just get a wideband?

Will a wideband work with a stock computer(and pass smog) until i can go megasquirt, or does it not work like that?

(btw)- turbo stuff is going on soon with megasquirt, but passing smog is priority number one at the moment.
