sr upgrade questions

redtop recently blew headgasket and needs rings, so while the motor is out and apart thinking about doing some upgrades. im pretty much set on the Brian Crower cam set, my questions are should i go with a thicker headgasket and if so how much. im also thinking about a turbo upgrade but dont wanna spend over 1k, so im thinking about getting a used s14 t28. if i do this will i have to modify ic piping (have fmic) and or intake piping and oil or coolant lines??? if i do all this will i need bigger injectors and a safc2?? it just seems like if i do one thing something else needs to be upgraded also.

so basically what im asking is what upgrades should i get for a mild engine build??
