Im new I need everyones opinon Help

Today I test drove a 98 240sx 5sp with 60k he is asking 9k but I got him down to 8k b/c he is the third owner the first owner was in the navy and never drove it ,the second owner modified it by putting a tanabe catback, and tanabe lowering springs, and zenki tail lights, he also took off the whole ac unit and cruise control, the owner now has all the ac parts and he has only had the car for 3 months,
Im wondering if this car has had a turbo motor swap at one point and they put a motor back in it just sell it, also the rear camber is out -3 the seller has a miata and a rx-7 and reason for selling is that he needs at least one sedan not 3 sport cars what you guys think about this, the car does run and drive very well so I dont know is 8 grand a good price ?
