California Engine Swap legal Q's

As far as I know with legal engine swaps in California they have to include the following, please correct me if I am wrong:

-Swap must include all emissions equipment
-Swapped engine cannot be older than the chassis
-Swapped engine must be produced for sale in the US
-Swapped engine must be of the same make of the vehicle

I've been toying around with the idea of swapping a 1989 Nissan 300ZX VG30ET Engine into a 1989 Nissan 240sx chassis.

With as much as I know about California being gay with car modification, will this mix and match setup be able to pass and be approved by the CARB Ref?

I believe everything you posted is correct except:

-Swapped engine must be of the same make of the vehicle
I've seen legal LS1 swaps in imports before. Also, to clarify-- the smog equipment must be from the engine that is getting swapped in.

Oh, and the engine must be from the same class of vehicle, meaning no truck engines (even pickup trucks) can be swapped into a passenger car.

Unmodified up to the cat because it's an engine swap?
