1000 dollar ka mod

Does anyone have the link for the 1000 dollar NA mod for the stock ka? The mods that'll make your ka graph look the same as the sr graph? I've been searching but i guess im not typing in the correct key works....

i remember that thread. i'll look for it.

alright i can't fucking find it so i give up
but its basically something like
header/intake/exhaust
pulleys
cams
some other junk
safc or some other basic tuning
cost comes in around $1000
hits like 170ish whp which is almost 200hp, i.e. stock sr power

i doubt it transforms your dyno graph into the sr graph
you just hit similar peak numbers

nitrous is way safer for 1000 and reliable than 1000 worth of KA-t.

I would rather throw cocaine out of a moving car for 1000 than try to put together a 1k ka-t project.

u can easily go ka-t for a grand if u buy used stuff
manifold and turbo, oil line kit = 400.
safc- 150
IC and piping either sm or from the junkyard, 100
bov 100
boost gauge and boost controller - 100
welded dp and crap....

ive seen some people not even get an safc, just let the ecu handle fuel control

this kind of setup ofcourse is only good for minimal boost (<6) ...im pretty sure a ghetto setup like this will put out better numbers than that 1k dollar n/a crap, and shit, boost is just more fun period!

yeah the only mod i would think about spending 1000 on or close to it would be that prototype crank they had for it on here a while back. its light weight and should help the motor rev faster. but other than that 1000 for na? thats retarded.
you should just spend the money else where, like at a city college to take a course on common sense, or money management.
anyway whatever floats your boat, i feel like ive wasted time reading this thread.
