Cool S14 5 lug hub & spindle

Okay, can someone clear this up for me. I will do my front 5 lug conversion soon. I know many people that use S14 front 5 lug parts, they have to use the spindle and then change to s14 ball joint for s13 lca. I asked myself why?? so I tested it out them out with s13 front spindles i had and the slid right in. The hub fits very well, its not loose. So wth, im totally puzzled

PICS>>

No one ever said it didn't fit, it does. The shaft on the S13 spindle is slightly smaller in diameter though, and even when torqued properly it will have some play when hitting bumps, potholes, etc. which will damage the inside of the bearing. Unless you drive on glass everywhere you need to swap the correct spindles over.

that ball joint taper is different on the S14 ball joints compared to the S13 ones.. don't use the S13 ball joint with the S14 upright.. you might just kill yourself while driving..

This would be nice to know in the end, I already did my S13 with S14 equipment though. S14 LCA's and all, I wanted the 15mm extra track width that I was told about.

I think this could be very possible its hard to verify this with nissan FAST as far as comparing interchangable part numbers becasue it appears nissan has a thing with upgrading these hubs which result in many different part numbers for the same hubs if you know what I mean.
