need little help with 248 248 cams(timing chain marks)

im reinstalling 248 248 cams on my 95 240sx (rebuilt a motor for it and putting these cams in


i stumped on this part

so people say move the intake gear sprocket 4 chainlinks to the left

so it should be the X in the picture? instead of the Black link that is for stock cams?




OR Did they mean move 4 chain links on the SPROcket it self before i put the chain on(if so i chouldnt have to do anything i just need to bolt up the chain since its been installed in the old motor before and i didnt remove the gears from the cams since i removed it
