I have to agree about the CAE.  I wouldnt worry about getting it wet.  I have one and have driven it through heavy rain with zero problems.

As far as the cost, I dont think its worth the expense.  maybe $60-$70 but most have them for around $100.  Then again it seemed to free up a lot of hidden horses or maybe it was because I finally changed my fuel filter.  Its so amazing what regular maintenance can do!

I used birthday gifts to get my cold air extension so it didnt affect me.  I like it a lot though.
