s13 Head Unit Question/Fuel Tank Question.

1. Ok I put my head unit back in after dissambling it to put it another car. I think I had this problem before but I can't remember. Ok well the head unit doesn't turn on and I was just going to run a hard line from the battery if I can't figure out anything else. I checked all the fuses and they look fine - notably the accessory/dome light one seems to be fine but for some reason the dome light(could be the bulb) and head unit won't go on. The cigarette lighter fuse blew out so I put a new one in for that. And the Audio fuse looks fine. Any other suggestions? Maybe a loose connection or something or just screw it and run a hard line?

2. My fuel tank developed a couple of holes in it so I dropped it and put a new one. Now the problem is getting the tank back up. I got the one strap all the way on but the other one will not bolt up no matter how hard I try. Is there any trick to this? I was thinking about using another bolt a little longer and just putting that up there to see if that works. Just tighten it all the way down - it's the bolt by the back end of the car on the driver side by the way. I got the other side on by using a motorcycle jack and pushing it up there.

Thanks in advance.
