because i need to clean it. car has idle problems please respond quick, trying to figure this out the whole day.

what year is your 240?  on my 89 the AIV is on the front side of the header/exhaust manifold (not the hole where the 02 sensor is, and not the hole where the EGR valve-the one that runs to the other side of the engine block is-...but the 3rd hole).  thats for an 89 S13 anyways.
