funky ac??

Hello everyone...im not sure if this goes here if not pardon me

Since the day i bought the car(3 yrs) the AC only worked when knob was switched to 1..2...4
therefore whenever i put the knob on 3 the air would completely stop coming out..

^ never a big deal since i ALWAYS kept it on 2 when i used it.. since 1 doesnt blow enough and 4 blows tooo much

now i turn my car on today turned ac on and now #2 doesnt blow...now all i have is #1 and 4...which is too little and too much

any1 know what may be the problem...help summers coming fast...in South Florida.!!!

Sounds like its just an issue between the knob and/or control part that it plugs into (HVAC?).
Try picking up a new one.

Hey screaming6,

seems like you have a bad 'Blower Motor Resistor' please refer to page HA-38 on the FSM. It's located under the passenger side (where the blower motor is, you'll see it on the FSM diagram. You can order this 'Resistor' (chip/plug) from a Nissan dealership or see if you can find one from a wrecker. Hopefully this helps.

Steve.
