I have two KA oilpickups. One is flat and oval looking(like a spaceship) and attaches to the front cover and another point under the oilpan.

The second pickup is more ball shaped, smaller, and only connects near the front cover.

Which is s13, which is s14, which is better?

S13 has the extra leg that bolts to the girdle. S14 only bolts the oil pump.

Thank you for the reply. i kinda figured you'd be the only one that knew.

The s13 seems larger. Would it be beneficial at all to use it with a s14 block?

Not really. It's larger but flatter, so the area within the pickup isn't much different.
