LSD whining noise
ok before you flame ive been searching for about an hour now on the forums and have found nothing.
i have a tomei ttraxx 2-way lsd, i bought it used in the pumpkin and installed it a couple of days ago. now i know the clunking noise is normal, but when i drive straight im getting this really loud whining noise coming from the diff whenever im on the throttle all the way from 1st-5th. once i let go of throttle its not as loud but i can still hear it. my question is, is this normal? |

Did you put correct fluid in it?
Does it lock correctly? Do a burnout and come back, do you have two black strips or one? If the answer to both of these is yes, then just drive the fucker. If you engage the clutch, does the sound go away? Then it's your throwout bearing/clutch related, not your LSD.
