Upper Timing Chain Guide + Drivers Side Cam Sprocket = Pix Inside
so i was cruising to work today not a care in the world. then suddenly boom, the car just dies. luckily i was near an exit and i managed to get all the way up it and onto the side of a low traffic street.
1. Electrical = Works 2. Fuel Pump = Works at this point im like fuck. this isnt good. the tow truck gets there, and i get her to a local shop. we pull the valve cover and this is what i am greeted with. ![]() ![]() apparently my upper timing chain guide decided to say hello to my drivers side cam sprocket. now, all you engine gurus, can i just get a new cam, adjust timing and call it a day? or is it more involved than that? |
