Now, I never seen actual documentation proving that it works, but was wondering if anyone of you guys seen it? and YES I SEARCHED!!!!. Couldnt find much..except for one post, but didnt help all that much. Anyone have a link or something?

Meh. . . You would have the same (or better) potential with an RB or VG series motor.

Mebbe I'm just biased against high-spinning motors.

Why do you want to put an S2000 motor in a 240sx? Only good I see in that is being able to put a "Powered By Honda" sticker on the damned 240. : )

y? like Four said, it will whoop a SR on stock boost including the s15. also dont forget...its NA!!!

i mean if you can have the F20C custom into your engine bay, you'll be rich enough to have them build a custom turbo as well

Yeah STOCK it MAY win in a S13/S14/S15 chassis (though I doubt it). But then again it has almost no torque to speak of, would cost a fortune to put in, and it's maxed out on power for the most part stock. Whereas a SR20/RB can be tuned to the upmost degree. Choice is simple: Stick to Nissan

s2000 does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds

240sx weighs like 500 pounds less
and i bet that the F20C is lighter than the KA24DE
so its not a bad idea at all

BUT

a brand new F20C would be way more expensive than RB26DETT

i think its in the vicintity of 7000 american, this is becuase the K20 is 7000 american (rsx type r engine)

The S2000 wieghs about the same as an S14, actually.

F20Cs aren't as expensive as you think. Brand new, hell yeah. Used... do you know how many totalled S2000s are out there? What are you gonna do with that engine... it doesn't bolt into anything. So for those of us that are adventurous enough for custom mounts and wiring, it's viable.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the 240SX... You'd end up with stock S2000 performance, basically. Fun but... stock kinda fun.

Now, throw that engine in something that weighs nothing... like a Trumph Spitfire, or a 510, or a 2002.

hahahhaha ya but you guys are forgetting one thing. Boost the SR up to 12lbs and its gonna run with that Honda no problem. Add a few bolt ons and its gonna give that S2000 a run for its money.

Talk is cheap....only REAL pictures and/or videos can prove anything. If its all over the place, we would have seen a pic or vid by now.

Oh yea.......I forgot to mention that my VG30 powered S14 is untouchable.

from someone who test drove an S2000 yesterday and has a 350z sitting in his garage, all I have to say is this, Some loney honda guy with gobs of cash might have put a s 2000 engine into a 240 somewhere, everything is possible with cash. Ive never seen anything on it but Im sure if someone did do it they wouldnt tell anyone cause it would be pointless. When I test drove the s2000 I was expecting to be unimpressed, and I was. The car sucks ass. I was thinking to myself about how you could put a missan engine into that can and make it decent. but if anyone did the reverese, theyed be a moron and Im fairly sure no one would.

Ummm....no not really......

I beat the bejesus out of an S2000 with a S13 Silvia with a CA18DET.

Stock CA18DET is 175PS, I was at roughly 200PS.
Stock S13 SR20DET (Red or Black) is 205PS.

My car had only bolt on upgrades (HKS intake, HKS exhaust, BOV)
Still had stock ECU and catalytic converter......

Beat the hell out of this guy.

Oh, the worst thing about it.....

My STOCK CA18DET turbine....was blown, and was boosting .9

S2000's suck ass and have no balls. A stock SR will kill it.

I know how much faster my 94 180SX is than my Silvia at stock .7 boost......It wouldn't even be funny.....

Oh....one more thing...

Pretty sure that no Japanese has put a S2000 motor into any Silvia/180SX.

They know better. The only engines you see going into a Nissan are usually a VG, RB or the occasional 13B (rotary)

Like I said, and other people said....the S2000 has no torque.

If I beat it in a CA18DET (with a bad turbo)....
That's pretty bad for the S2000.

Know if you wanna talk S2000 Vs 240SX....yeah the S2000 might win.
