New to the 240 - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

well a friend of mine is loaning me his 240 for a good bit of time. we are putting it in my name soon. thanks to gustav i lost my house do to my roof blowing off and pouring into my house. i sold my mother in law my truck to get rid of some debt so i can save up a down payment to buy a new house. well back to the 240. my best friend just had it sitting in his yard collecting dust and allowing grass to grow up in it. i dropped it off today at the mech. shop so they can go over it and make it reliable. all they really need to do is install a power steering line and check the brakes. they couldn't get to it today but said i will be riding by monday.

list of rides if had prior to losing most of my worldly possessions:
2008 silverado
2007 sti stage 2
2005 xrunner stock
1998 z28 cam and heads
1998 integra (head and supercharger from b16)
1995 supercharged b16 eg hatch

so i have been around but this is my first nissan so please go gental on me lol. well look forward to meeting y'all and getting as much knowledge on this car as i can.

Lol Gustav was the hurricane on the east coast recently. Not some dude who ripped up his shingles and poured things into his house lol.

You've got a couple monsters on your list. I doubt the 240 is going to be as fun as "2007 sti stage 2" but we love em.

my bad man i looked through the main forums and didn't see it. i saw chat but didn't even think about going in and looking at the stickies. i will pay more attention from now on.
