Sohc cut off 2500rpm
So Last night I decided that my fan shroud should come off because my fan was cutting into it. After its off all said and done a took all the lines that used to sit on top of the fan shroud and zip tied them but not tight they can still move around I did it just enough so they wont get hit by that fan and they sit right under the intake. I reassemble everything fire the motor up and It idles for like a couple of seconds and dies so then I give it gas as soon as you get to twenty five it cuts out and will not let me go any higher. Please help need to get to work =/

Yeah what was stated above, usually if a car dies right away on start up and doesnt want to rev beyond 2500/3000 rpm thats the magic spot of the MAF giving trouble. If you need diagrams to help you diagnose what wires/possible vaccum lines you may need to look over then here it is:

Maf, i had the same problem, or reset the ecu that helped me 2... disconnect the battery terminals over night should do that...
