Boost leak?

Help I'm stuck at school and can't get home.

I tried to test a bov before I purchased it for my sr. However, we did not have a t fitting and an extra vacuum line in order to route it to the bov. So we put everything back together, but my car would sputter out and die.

Any suggestions on what the problem may be? What is the proper line to connect the vaccum line to? When it is attached to the line I thought it came from, that is when the car sputters and dies. This line routes around the engine bay and underneath the firewall towards the rear of the car. Meanwhile, when it is running for the short while it does, there is a strange humming noise coming from the rear of the car.

While I was messing with the lines, I noticed that there is also a torn line from the stock recirculating valve, where should it be connected to?

Thanks in advance,
Jason
