Common electrical gremlin?

Rear running lights and clusters not working. I blew a few fuses and now the fuses are ok but i still got the prob... MY qeustion is, is there a common place that this might ground out to? I unpluged the cig lighter and clove box light.I dunno were exaclty the harness goes, i did rub a few wires before i relocated my harness, but i thought that was all engine wiring.Im going to remove the fuse box and check behind it then trace the wires i geuss. Could it be a headlight switch? my lights stoped poping up a while back. Sorry i just cant stand electrical shit.

There's parking lights in the underhood harness, mainly since there's lights outside the car. Strange, I know.

You could also have a bad switch, TCU, or a bulb and/or socket shorted out. Plenty of stuff to mess with to diagnose. Enjoy.

projectRDM gave you a starting point on where to look. if you just want your car fixed take it somewhere, and pay someone else to do it. done and done.

Check the underhood harness, the same happened to me a few years back. I rubbed right through part of it.

What you gotta understand is that people online can't diagnose your electrical problems unless they are there in person.

All they can do is point you in the right direction.

So just check what Russ [ProjectRDM] listed.

K.I.S.S.
KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
That is how I approach any problem on a car.

I checked the fuses first and unplugged all other accesories on the same circut. I checked all the wires and they look good. I cant get behind the kick panel fuse box because the wires dont have enough slack. Im testing the Relays tommorro and the HL switch(i have a meter). Also may pull the fender to check that harness just for shits. I will figure it out, just a matter of elimination and i hate it.
