Catback hanger Question

I just got a 2 piece catback for my s13 and it wasn't made with a hanger on the first piece. The first hanger if you were going from the cat back to the tip. How vital is it that this hanger be utilized? I know that it was there for a reason with the stock exhaust but is it necessary? Anyone else using one that dosn't have this hanger? Thnaks

If all of your exhaust rubber hangers are good and you're using the transmission mount bracket to the exhaust, you're fine. If it's flopping around under the car like a wet noodle you'll see more movement without the extra hanger, and possibly contact issues.
