I took off the rear wheel today to look at the brake pads, because i've had some terrible squeks/grinding/screeching etc. The pads are soooo worn, but they're only 6 months old with a "lifetime warranty." hahah, so i got new ones today. i heard changing the rear brakes are a pain, so should i do it myself or have my mechanic do it? i've never done the rear ones before. oh and the rotors are fine

The only tricky part is the upper control arm (I'm pretty sure that's what it is), it doesn't leave much room for a wrench, at least on my year (95), so you might have to disconnect the outer bolt. And even then it's not that bad.
