BOV on smic, not functioning??
This is on my sr20det s13, I currently have a hot pipe with a sard bov, and running the stock smic. I know I'm suppose to disable the stock bypass valve in order to use the bov. I already re-routed the vacuum hose that originally went to the bypass valve. And routed that vaccum hose to the BOV, and capped off the end of the stock bypass valve. I drove the car to test it out, and I still hear the stock bypass valve. Am I suppose to remove the entire bypass valve and cap off everything else? I'm stumped! need some help please.

are you sure you still hear it?
at idle the BV is open until boost then it closes then opens when let off. just pull the BV off and cap it on the intercooler. Or pull off the BV and shove and clamp a D Cell battery in the BV Hose.
