Is there a program out there you can install on your laptop, hook up to your car and it will find out whats wrong and give you your reading and everything. I heard of it before but never heard of it again.

not that I know if.

Nissan master tech's have access to a consult which hooks up to a plug on your 240 and tells you what codes the ECU reads etc..

You can also pull the codes using the light on your ecu.

Depends on what year your car is, obdII scanners are out there that do that.
