Leaky Injector

![]() Today I was driving home from school and I accelerated through second gear to about 40mph, and then I go to put it in 4th and GRIND. So I just put in third then 4th and no problem. So I drive normal (first, second, third, fourth) the rest of the way to where I drop my friend off and no problem at all. So I decide to test it and see if earlier was a fluke...So 3 times I get up to 40 and go to put it in 4th and twice GRIND and the other it went. Yes I did make sure the clutch was depressed. So my question is are my synchros bad? If so I'm screwed 'cause I have all of 3 dollars. Or am I jsut an idiot and shouldnt bedoing that? Or is it something else? Any and all help is very much appreciated.
Thanks much ...JG

Th problem may be with your syncros, or you could just use a change of tranny oil. My second gear used to randomly grind at times. I changed my tran. fluid 3 months ago and it hasn't happened since. Also, you could try double clutching (clutch-neutral, clutch-gear), see if that helps.
