I just bought a '93 240 and noticed that the speedometer is reading my actual speed too high, it's about 5 mph too high all the time. any ideas on how to fix this ?

well i would check ur gauge connections or open up the unit and turn it manuelly or if ur a perfectionest u can just got and buy a new one
