I know they fit under s14 SE alloys, cuz that's what I am running. I have heard they fit under the s13 SE alloys, too. Someone with an s13 should agree here.

Really, I thought only the 26mm calipers cleared stock S14 SE wheels?

Nopers...check out my install write up in the installs sections on the www.zilvia.net homepage. I've got 30mm calipers under stock S14 rims. Just enough room in there for them...where they're supposed to be!

Awesome, so I dont have to source 300zx rims now to do the swap. Though I still have to buy the 5 lug hubs Well I suppose I could start pricing things out. I wonder how well the wheels will sit on my S13...

sr20fastback. I think that they clear the s13 rims, but mabey you should do a search on FA, cuz that might be where I read it.
Also, you can either drill out the rotors for 4-lug yourself, or have just about any machine shop do it, so you don't NEED to get the 5-lug conversion.

for the record, 17x8.5 are big and heavy, what size tires are you planning of running; 235/40-17? anyways, offset is a poor way of finding what wheels ot run... it's important to know offset, to figure out fender rub and factors like that, but as far as calliper clearance, spoke design is the most important thing.

but here's what i've got for you on a 17x8.5" wheel you shold need about 30-35mm of offset... this would give you a total backspacing of 137.95mm and 142.95mm respectivly. which should put the wheel and tires under your fenders with minor trimming needed. (this is if you are running a standard shock/spring setup...) if you are running coilovers... you may have to step out to about a 25mm-30mm offset which whould give you a total backspacing of 132.95mm-137.95mm... that was the easy part... in summary: go with about a 30mm offset/137.95mm backspace wheel.

now we get to look at spoke design!!! this part is all on you. and with the help of some wheel spacers any spoke design will fit!!! try the Volk GT-N they have a good spoke design and are pretty cool... SCC used the CE28's an they did well also. here's the link: http://sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0211scc_projsilvia/

hope this helped a little,

I second that

I agree-- my '91 SE FB wheels won't clear the 30mm brakes. Wouldn't clear the 26mm either BTW... having to run a 1/4" spacer
