Maybe time for an import

I was rearended a couple of weeks ago and my car is totaled. It's an IROC-Z, yes i know, don't get me started on the sloth-like thirdgens(although mine was pretty fast). Anyway, he came back with some silly quote, but I doubt I'm going to get much more, so I'm looking to the only import brand I think I could ever own, which is Nissan. I know it's all up for debate, but is it really worth it to get a 240 if it only costs 1500 to 3000(thats all I plan on getting). I was planning to either do the "mandatory" sr swap, or just turbo the KA with the injury part when I get it back. What models are really best? Im looking for the s13 body by the way. I appreciate it. Oh yeah, help me with anything else my ignorant a** should know.
