Differences felt after installing a nismo power brace?

*Searched* I'm in the market for a nismo power brace for my s13 (it'll be mated to spc tc rods). Was wondering what differnce you've felt after installing it, as far as vibration, conering, overall tightness after install. So far the best price i found is 189 from intense motorsports, are they a vendor on zilvia and would i be able to get a better price then that? Here's the link to the product,
NISMO Power Brace S13 240SX '89-'94
All inputs concering item appretiated.

I had one of these on both my cars.

I didn't notice a difference (maybe because I installed tons of stuff at once?)

You won't notice it with stock tension rods.

But if you use a heim joint tension rod along with a tied tension rod bracket, then you will notice an increase in steering feel.

i'm interested in this as well. it appears that my driver side bracket is tweaked, so i want to just replace both with the powerbrace.

i don't know how different it will be with the s13, but in my s14, i had spc tc rods(which you should get rid of) when i put on my power brace. only real difference was that the steering felt a little more solid when cornering on bumpy roads. other than that, because of the cheap tc rods, not much difference. get the power brace then get some heim joint tc rods.

How did it tweak? i'm just interested being mine gave/giving me hell, 2 out of the 4 bolts that hold it stripped the hole in the frame it threads into, so i drill through the frame to put a long bolt and nut to hold the subframe on, then as i tighten the other 2 bolts, it strips. So once i get the nismo one, those other 2 holes will be drilled.

after lowering the car and setting the front toe, i noticed the caster was off.
the driver side wheel is closer to the door than the passenger. i looked underneath, and it looks like the previous owner hit something. i was going to just get adjustable tension rods, but i want to fix it the right way. then i'll get the rods.

Some people say that these things make a world of a difference. I installed one and didn't notice anything really. I guess I'm just bad at noticing differences when I add parts to my car. =/

Typically people that like to curb hump when they park will fold them over and destroy the aero tray. The Nismo is boxed in, basically eliminating that problem.

You won't notice as great a gain on stock TC rods cause they do give. But, if your brackets are bent it will move the TC rods mounting point changing your caster.

If you install a Power Brace and you don't feel a difference, you must not push your car hard enough.

When I installed mine, I installed Peak tension rods at the same time, and felt a huge difference. The was far tighter, understeered less, and generally felt less floppy during hard cornering.

I recently sold the Power Brace, but kept the Peak tension rods... The car feels all floppy again. I had to readjust my driving style slightly to compensate.

When I had a cusco brace on my black car I noticed the turn in felt "flatter"

The tension rod tie bar is worth it if you're a spirited driver.

They are good, but 169 is hella expensive, buy from that nissan advertisor guy who was advertising employee prices, I paid 10% over cost with my employee discount and got my Nismo power brace for $110, but the employee discount can vary from 10% to 15% over cost from dealership to dealership, that's my advice for buying one

i had aftermarket tension rods before i put on my power brace and could tell the difference when cornering. if you corner hard it doesn't feel like the two front wheels are moving towards or away from each other, it feels like they are more planted and you can corner much better.

I installed one on my Kouki last summer and noticed a slight increase of handling in harder turn-ins (this is my only suspension mod). I paid like $125 w/shipping for mine. I just can't remember the site I got it from...

Yep it's me...lol.

Some people notice big differences some do not. I think it is going to have a lot to do with how in tune you are with your car, level of modification your car is at, and how much you do at once.
I have heard that it makes the car quieter...I have no idea why, better turn in, a more consistant feel.
I have my brace on my car, and it made a big difference.

I think you made a good purchase.
Enjoy
