Difference of black and red ecu

Hello,

My question seems simple, but could be difficult...that's why I'm asking the genious' of the 240sx forum. However, my question is what is the difference in ecu's for the sr20det with the red and black top engines? Will the ecu's work for both engines, or are they specifically designed to work only in there respected engine types? After all, there isn't that much of a difference in the red and black top engines other than the turbo and added technology right?

redtop s13 ecu's will work on blacktop s13 motors

blacktop s13 ecu's will not work on redtop motors (not proven yet)

Redtop or blacktop s13 ecu's will NOT work on blacktop s14 engines. Nor will a blacktop s14 ecu work on an s13 motor
