Instrument Cluster and HUD Install...Please read!

Hi all
New to the site, looks great! I live in Sudbury Ontario Canada, and drive a 1993 240SX SE in jet gloss black with leather and deep black tint. I have left the car stock more or less since its just awesome the way it is, although I have upgraded to a larger bore custom built exhaust system using the factory muffler and cat (paid 70 bucks canadian for it...what a difference!) Anyways I was wondering if anyone has (or knows of an article link...) successfully removed their instrument cluster and reinstalled it. I tried that once but get stuck on the tilt steering lever and think theres a bit too much bending for my taste. Plus I dont know how much slack is available in the speedo cable. I want to change the lightbulbs from the white to blue or green. As well, since my car has no HUD, I was wondering if anyone knows whether a HUD unit (ie from junkyard, etc) would just plug in somewhere to the instrument cluster or computer, or if Im out of luck. I want one since my buddy has a Grand Prix GTP which has a HUD and I think theyre just fantastic! Anyhow, if anyone can advise it would be much appreciated! Thanks a million!
