Well i looked at my wiring and everything is perfect ...
i just found a webpage about some german car and the guys said when the fuel filter is clogged the fuel pump fuse can blow out well here what he said TRADE TIPS: Just because an Fuel Pump Fuse Blows, it doesn't automatically mean there is a short in the wire! More likely a blocked fuel filter puts an strain onto the pump which returns an extreme high current draw which will blow the standard fuse. A replacement with a higher fuse amp. value will only destroy the pump and pump relay quicker. http://www.users.bigpond.com/INTERJECT/EFICASE2.HTM I will change the fuel filter before going under the car .. Damn dsm they are absolutely a pain in the ass to work on .. thx! for your suggestion ![]() Last edited by F3600; 04-23-2003 at 11:27 AM.. |
