Lectric fan Q's

yeah I searched but didnt find anything relevant really.

I have AC but its going to cost an arm and a leg to fix it. (condensor) and as well where I live, for thr month or so you actually need it you can just take the glass off the roof.

Question: Where is my AC fan and can I remove it easily. Will this benefit me in any way? (Ie is it attached to the engine at all, physically?)

and if I remove the fan on the front of the motor and rewire the electric one there, I know this lets it rev more freely, and whatnot, makes sense, but for one, how hard is the wiring, and for 2, can someone please convince me its really worth doing as a cheap (free) way to free up a couple ponies??
