Unorthodox vs Unorthodox Q's

I know how people say that underdrive pullys will ruin the engine. What if you replaced the Alternator, Power Steering, and Water Pump too. Or what I'm really saying is which would be better just haveing the crank pully or all 4 of them. Or will it even matter. also if I do replace them all will it add more hp, like more than 1hp per pully.

I honestly in all my years I dont think ive ever seen someones engine get damaged as a direct result of a UD pulley. IIRC Unorthodox dosent make a multi pulley set for the KA, but Greddy makes one for the SR. The best way to go for the KA is to get the ASP UD Pulley for about 120$ +/-. There would be no purpose to replace the Alternator, Power Steering, or Water Pump when you install the UD pulley. IMO it wouldnt help any more then +1 hp if you did the other pulleys anyways, overall the Pulley gives the KA about 3-6 more HP max. Is it worth it? I think it is if you need to do a belt change, get the pulley and put it in there while your down there.

Greddy is NOT an underdrive pully.

Is it worth the $400? or is $120 for the ASP more reasonable.

Well i'm sure the 120$ is more reasonable. I plan to do the 400$ unortadox ones. I'm sure I will never ware them out. I'm not sure if you can buy the other pullys if they arnt in the set.

I bet the ASP will help.. It just comes down to how much you want to spend.

I'm a do it right the 1st time type of guy.

I agree with you there. I want to get all 4 but that will leave me with less money for other mods. I was either going to get a couple expencive mods or go with some ok priced mods but for areas of the car. That counts cosmetic work. I do love the sleeper look but I want my car to still look good.

Does anyone know why the SET of pulleys is for 95-98 when the crank-only is for 91-98? I was thinking about getting the set for my 91' but was kinda stumped as to why it says those years.

Because from what I have read and heard... Some guy with a 95 nissan 240sx went in and comishend them to make pullys for his race car.. (KA24DE) engine.. So they made some... I'm sure that cost quite a bit.

(Thats what I hear.. Dont kills me if its not true)

EDIT: Not to do with pullys.. But I found a place that if you send them OEM body parts from the manufacture.. they will make a carbonfiber part for it.. Then you can buy.. ohh CF fenders.. I was thinking of doing this.
