I just picked up a S14, 1995 SE, about a week ago and soon found this forum; a lot of great folks and info found on here so far. Much better than those Altima forums

Now, to my question about the lighting on the heating and a/c controls. What is supposed to light up at night with the headlights on? All I have lighting up is the green lights under the pressed button (i.e., a/c, recycled air, etc.), and the fan speed numbers. Are the pictures of the man with the arrows pointing where the air flows supposed to light up too?

My next project is to stop the rattling sound from the rear speaker shelf and then I have a remote on order from a Nissan dealer near me that I am going to pick up on Thursday and program thanks to the instructions found here.
