Sideskirts Please

I need to see pics and or get suppliers and or prices of sideskirts to fit my car. I dont want them necessarily to be a part of a bodykit or anything fancy looking, The reason I want them is to protect the rockerpanels, especially the underside of them. This means that the sideskirts I get kind of have to go under the car as well as vertically over the rockerpanel. I want to take a disk grinder and grind down the seam under the car where the rockerpanels meet the floorpan, about a quarter inch to get rid of the little bit of rust that is starting to form there, then grease the bare metal like a pig and use the sideskirt to cover it all up. I am very partial to having a rust free car, and despite being oilsprayed every year since new, the seam is still showing signs of rust.

my old car had rocker panels so rotten from the inside that I went to kick my boot off on one of them and put a hole in it.

what can I get and does anyone have pics?

remember, more for protection than looks.

no sideskirt i have ever seen in over 2 years do that
why? because its too much work and pointless..well not pointless but it is for the average person

all sideskirt will be a bolt on/screw on affair

you'll have to do it all yoruself
cut it and somehow protect it from rusting..new paint? i dont know.

other then that, your on your own. most people dont run into a rust problem.

as i said, no side skirt will go so far under the car. why? because most people dont have the same problem. and because its more money to produce.

twitchy - Why do you need sideskirts? Anywho, they bolt from the bottom and some skirts will have clips that require you to drill holes on the side of your car. Then you finsh everything off with some 3M double sided tape. You should not be concerned about rust.

like the bed of a pickup truck haha

Actually. . you know the stuff they use on the rocker panels of BMWs, and, actually on Z32 300zx? The stuff is similar. . that may do a lotta good, actually. . it's like a rubbery substance. . :dunno:
