Suggestions for stuff to do/see in Washington DC
Hello,
I will be flying out to WDC for a couple days at the end of August, can anyone recommend things to do while there? I've never been to the east coast so I will not have time to get acclimated to the environment. Thanks, |

There's a lot of history in the city and I like history so i can walk around DC and take every tour and read every plaque and never get bored.
Capitol is a good tour. Museums are nice as well. Try to find an events calendar online because there's usually something special going on pretty much every week in the summer somewhere in the city. As far as weather goes, if it's the end of august it'll probably be light jacket weather or tshirt weather, you might end up sweating or you might get a cool breeze, it's a crapshoot.
