I feel like I'm gonna hurt 1 of my friends, for the past 2 weeks I have been working on 3 of my friends cars.
All I hear is "should I go KA-T or SR".
Almost every fucking day, when the see me, when they call me, when they email me or messenger online.
Will these questions stop coming at me, I will destroy every KA and SR engine out there if I have to to make you people shut up about them. Neither one is good OK got it, both are shit, every engine is shit, engines don't make you happy, only thing that I know would make you happy is some new Nike shoes and start running to work.

Yeah, a wise man said these are all over-glorified lawn mower engines. Some have pros and cons but they are all generally the same.

...just avoid the SOHC.

Youre getting shit from everyone because youve shown absolutely no forum etiquette. You come on here and ask a purely subjective question on a matter that you clearly have no knowledge on. You expect us to just hand you all the information in the world, when youve put no effort at all into your own post, or your own research. If you want to turbo your KA, thats cool, and theres a ton of information out there on the matter. Lots of it that has already been organized into write ups and FAQ's. Youve made no effort to find any of these.

Once youve been on this forum for more than 30 seconds, youll realize that 90% of the time, whatever questions you have have already been asked and answered. If youre too lazy to look, thats your own fucking problem, not ours.

Myself, and most of the others on this forum have NO PROBLEM helping someone who puts some effort into finding an answer and still comes up empty handed. You havent done shit. So why should we help you?

Its easier to just crack jokes. Either youll get with the program, or youll leave. Either one is fine.

Its easy and pretty inexpensive to turbo the KA24DE-T the right way, awesome engine in turbo fashsion to boot, loved it. Owned more SR20DE and T's than most I love that engine to so dont get it twisted im just not gonna hate on the KA-T becasue it is a bad ass engine turbocharged afterall.

WOW WOW ... lol hilarious thread.

But honestly its about budget, goals, skill level, and situation.

I always wanted an SR, test drove a KA-T and an SR, liked the KA-T and since I had emission testing in my state ended up doing KA-T. Learned a shit ton from it, loved it, then our emissions laws changed so now any 95 and older vehicle is exempt. Now my S14 is getting a 1JZ and I wont be looking back hehehe
