aiite soo im checkin out ebay from some 240sx stuff and I find this...tis performance chip...it suppose to add like 10-20 hp..
Im thinkin this shiet is bullshiet..and that it's a scam...

anyone ever bought one? and does this $20 chip actually add anything?

i wouldnt trust it OR believe it.
air fuel is not something you want to play with esecially something like that===universal
that's why even if we run the same engine i WONT give you my SAFC settings because engines run differently, even if they are the same.

get power quick schemes 99% of the time are BS

it basically fools your ecu into thinking it is getting a cooler intake charge. From what I hear, it doesn't do much and you can get all the supplies from Radio Shack for under 2 bucks. I think if you search, you will find something.

I was stupid enough to buy one of those things off ebay a long time ago. It was $5 plus $3 shipping. When I got it, it came in a white normal envelope. I was like wtf? I paid $3 for shipping on this? And, when I opened it, it was like a 220 ohm resistor (you can get at Radio Shack for like a quarter) taped on a home made computer printed instructions. Basically, it had you unplug some air sensor (wasn't on the mafs) and put the resistor in two holes in the harness. I threw the crap away right when I read it. Don't be suckered into that crap.

my brother bought something like that for his eclipse.
I have no ideal why he bought it, but I guess i will help him install it and laugh at him also.
The only good thing about the chip or what ever it is is that it is cheap and he won't feel that bad for buying a useless product.
