too good to be true?
seller is asking 2,900
91' black Nissan 240sx with silvia motor s13 very little rust SPECS: 2.0 turbo charge t28 conversion. Megan racing headers Megan racing 3" cat back exhaust HKS 3 inch down pipe Greddy intake manifold Greddy mount intercooler Greddy electronic boost controller (profect b) Greddy type rs bov Koyo aluminum radiator Single electric fan Boost gauge Water temperature gauge Oil pressure gauge Fuel pressure regulator 255 walboro high pressure fuel pump Tokico struts and springs (front & rear) Silicon hoses New seats from the factory Factory wheels and 18" wheels 550cc injectors ecu tuned for smaller injectors and stock maf so i figured id buy it put on z32 maf and retune the ecu at enthalpy or somethin good buy or no? cause im personally thinkin off hopping on it but wondering other opinions |

thats not a bad deal at all.
i've seen some s13's for sale here in canada for like 4 grand canadian. if its too good to be true , go check it out anyways .... bring a compression tester.

I've seen a couple decent body running stock (aside from fmic and possibly exhaust) sr swapped cars going for between $2500-3000 around where i live.
Nothing with that many trinkets of awesome on it though Go for it. All else fails, part that bitch out and come out ahead anyway....

comp test and let it idle for like 15 minutes, then drive it for 30 more minutes. If the guy bitches drive it to the gas station and but some in it haha. Make sure every part you listed is on their and make sure those hoses are ALL silicon. And what size fan is it?

go look at it, forget about compression testing it if it will run and idle fine. see if you can get a ride or drive it. If the seller flakes on that walk away. Obviously theres an issue if he cant take you for a ride in it to go through all the gears and show you its good to go.
If the seller wont start it then ask to compression test it, or even turn it over. If they cant show you that its ready to go then dont bother. Why fix someone elses head ache |

i picked it up yesterday and gonna get some pics sometime this week, body was lil rougher than i thought but no rot or serious damage just needs some tlc and paint
started and idled fine but too big off injectors would cause it to bog down at around 3k but turbo pulled fine til then, he also took out the boost controller so he said its runnin stock boost now. he said if i switch back to 480 injectors it will run and pull fine its just too rich now and i would need a retune and z32maf ofc just tryin to be safe and not do any damage to engine so may get a s-afc or somethin of the sort |
