Can someon help clarify some SR20 misconceptions?
Hi guys,
I recently got an s13 fastback and I'm planning to drop in an SR20DET in it. I've been reading around some forums and read that the SR20 comes w/ a stock side mount intercooler and a stock blow off valve which recirculates. My question is: Is it advisable to run an aftermarket blow off valve (Blitz, Greddy, etc) on the stock SMIC? I only ask this because I know people usually run aftermarket ones AFTER they have got a FMIC. I was curious what people's take was on this. Would it be more "politically correct" to get an aftermarket BOV if I increase the boost past stock boost with the same SMIC? Thanks! |
