i need the tranny to engine torque specs for an sr20det

does anyone know the specs?

You are talking about the bell housing bolts?

Its a German Torque Spec = "Good en Tight"

^Agreed. Seriously though, my instincts say somewhere from 80-100 ft-lbs.


EDIT:

Just checked my FSM for you, and I was wrong.


The ones around the top "half" of the tranny are 51-59 ft-lbs. and the ones around the bottom "half" are actually only 22-29 ft-lbs.


The input shaft and tranny mount likely carry most of the load, so the primary function of those bolts is probably just to hold the tranny housing tight against the motor
