S13 hicas tie rod removal
Having issues removing my rear passenger hicas tie rod..
![]() ![]() Highlighted the lock nut (yellow) stroke stopped nut (red) tie rod end (blue) just for convience as I only have a cellphone pic which isn't the best quality. The problem I've run into is the tierod's threading seems to be stuck inside the stroke stopper so they are both spinning; the tierod itself isn't spinning when I've been turning it. Am I doing something wrong? Backed the lock nut all the way off towards the hicas unit and kept turning the tie rod until it basically adjusted for a million degrees of toe in but thats it :/ Definitely buying an eliminator bar as soon as I can, need to drive in the meantime as it's my daily. |
