installing aftermarkt spring help ASAP!!!

I bought some megan springs and got it on the struts but when i go to install on car i cant get the bottom bolt holes anywhere close..its like i have to compress the springs all the way but theres no room for that to happen.....

i did 1 but i cant install them on the car itself for some reason..the springs are stiff right now because there new but i have no clue why i cant get then on.its like i need to have them compressed still but there is no room to but the compresssor on

How about you read his post duffboy he has it on the strut all ready.


To the op it sounds like to me you are lifting one side of the car up at a time and you must have a sway bar. Lift the.entire front off the.ground to relieve the.pressure and you should be fine.

well when i went to install my rear agx on my s13, i used my jack to compress the strut and align the bolt hole. as for the front, it already sorta just aligned good enough.

thanks alot man just what i needed,this could be because the sway is putting stress on the side im trying to install correct and if the whole front is up both sides should fall down more right?

got it all done sir.thanks alot...and i didnt know that these nissan stock struts where so weak they are almost bottom'ed out now i have new struts coming so i can have some play in there

i had the same problem when i was reinstalling my front struts. Me and my friend spent almost an hour trying to figure it out..We pushed the LCA down, and starting kicking stuff (LOL) Then i realized the whole sway bar=tension thing.
