sr20det is smoking?!

Hey guys, just wanna see what tests I should start to figure out why its smoking... its a built SR, when i bought it the first owner said that the rings needed to be replaced so we did that thinking the smoking would be fixed, well even after doing that it still smokes its not bad it just smokes from the exhaust i little when the motor warms up and i puff out alittle when i take off! thought it was the HG or maybe the turbo seals but thats not it HG is a tomei and its fine and the turbo seals are good I took off the elbow and felt no oil from the rear commpresser. what do you guys think it may be valve seals maybe??? man i hope not cause thats gonna be a pain to get too lol... is it bad to run this car smoking alittle im always checking my oil and ive been using mobil1 5w30 thinking about changing to 10w maybe alittle thicker oil will do haha I wish, let me know what you guys think! could be valve seals since you said its a puff on accel (higher crank case pressure pushing oil past the seals)

no problem. its not as bad as ya think tho. if you get the tool to hook up where ur spark plug goes to fill the cylinder with air it goes pretty east just wont let the motor turn over while its at tdc
