Fitting 4" speakers in S13 doors?

Anyone tried it? Or anyone tried fitting anything other than a 4x6? You and I both know 4x6 speakers are teh garbage... I would appreciate any insight.

There's plenty of room in the door panel for 6.5's if you remove the stupid plastic 4x6 mount and the pot metal frame the holds it...

That was an excellent writeup for making 6.5 fit in the front.. problem is I wanted to run 6/5 MOMO components in the front and they are MUCH deeper than the Infiniti components (I am looking at them right now... they're like, a good 2-5 inches deeper as well as bigger all around) so I don't know if they'll fit in the damn doors. I want to keep the stock grilles. Kinda hard NOT to notice the MOMOs... especially the tweeters cus theyre a nice bright red :P

If I have to I'll run the Infinitis (I prefer them cus they're clearer but those MOMOs sound ****ing good) cus I know they fit... that one guy did it.

Rear is no problem... MOMOs, mount tweeters on rear pillars... haha :P

I put 5x7 in the doors that very simple you just have to cut a little bit the plastic holder inside and that's it !
